I paired this with some lamb kabobs the other night. I like Carmenere with lamb because of it's typical dark fruit and black pepper. This wine continued to develop more complexity over time. I was really pleased with this, especially with the price.

Nice dark color.
On the Nose: Black tea, tobacco, subtle dark fruit, and dark chocolate.
On the palate: Dark fruit, plenty of black pepper, other spices, a silky mid palate, and mild tannins.
